YHWH (Yahweh, Jehovah or יהוה in the original Hebrew) is one of the gods of Abraham that appears in the Hebrew Bible (Tanakh), and the name for the monotheistic God that the Jews and Christians would later worship. YHWH does not appear to be a Canaanite god, but instead an Edomic one.
