- A Brooklyn judge today extended an order of protection against three
men, accused of secretly photographing an alleged sex-assault victim in
court and posting those images online.
Prosecutors said the
alleged shutterbug work of Yona Weissman, Joseph Fried and Lemon Juice
“was done to intimidate a witness,” in the trial of an alleged sex
abuser.
Leopold Gross, a lawyer for Juice, said his client only
snapped pictures outside court. But Justice Charles Troia ruled: “The
court finds an order of protection is warranted [for all three
suspects]."
The men had all been sitting in on the trial of ultra-Orthodox Jewish educator, rabbi and sex-assault suspect Nechemya Weberman.
He’s
been charged with allegedly fondling a young female student and then
forcing her to perform oral sex on him over the course of several years,
dating back to when she was just 12.
Juice insisted he’s on the side the alleged victim and has no ties to his two fellow defendants.
